What is this tool used for?
Use this tool to screen a proposed panel-string arrangement against the selected voltage and current limits of one inverter MPPT input.
How to use this calculator
Enter series and parallel counts, panel datasheet values and temperature coefficients, design cell temperatures, and the inverter's absolute PV, MPPT operating and current limits. Treat each independent MPPT separately.
Understanding your results
Review every voltage and current check rather than just total array watts. A passing screen covers only the limits modelled here; startup voltage, permitted array power, connector restrictions and manufacturer design rules still need verification.
